After your celebration, the wedding couple enjoys a complimentary overnight stay in one of our suites. A little more time to savour the day together. We will arrange the suite and overnight stay with you personally; rooms for your guests are discussed separately.

Can we come for a viewing first?+
Of course. Use ‘Arrange a wedding viewing’ to share a few preferred times. Erik Wulms will contact you to confirm the appointment and show you the estate and available event spaces.
How many guests can you accommodate?+
This depends on the room, layout and programme. Send us your expected guest numbers and we can advise you.
Is the wedding tasting complimentary for the couple?+
Yes. For your wedding, we offer the couple a complimentary wedding tasting. We will arrange the date and details personally.
Is an overnight stay included for the wedding couple?+
Yes. The wedding couple receives a complimentary overnight stay in one of our suites. We will arrange the suite and date personally.
Can our guests stay overnight too?+
There are 17 rooms at De Kleine Motte and another 46 rooms and suites at Château de Looz in Hoepertingen. Please tell us how many rooms you need in good time; guest bookings and availability are discussed separately.
Where can our wedding ceremony take place?+
Several locations on the estate are possible, including by the tower in front of the château and on the lawn in front of the brasserie. We will agree the layout, styling, sound and a poor-weather alternative in advance.
Can we take wedding photographs on the estate?+
Yes, you can take wedding photographs on the estate. Please agree the timing and locations with us in advance.
Can we choose a barbecue, buffet, standing dinner or seated dinner?+
Yes. A barbecue or buffet gives the day a relaxed feel; a standing dinner lets guests enjoy small dishes and move easily between conversations. A seated menu gives everyone time to linger together. We will tailor dishes, drinks and dietary arrangements to your guests.
Can we welcome our guests in the courtyard?+
In fine weather, you can enjoy an aperitif in the courtyard. We will arrange access, tables and parasols to suit your group.
Can we bring our own wine or champagne?+
This can be arranged, with a corkage charge. We will confirm the arrangements and fee in your proposal beforehand.
Can we bring our own caterer?+
Outside catering can be discussed. Please share your plans in advance so we can agree kitchen use, service and practical arrangements.
Is room hire charged separately?+
In many cases, there is no separate room hire charge. Your personal proposal will set out what applies to your chosen space and arrangements.
Can we pay for our celebration in instalments?+
Payment in instalments can be discussed. We will agree the payment schedule and terms together in advance.
Can you dress the tables for our celebration?+
We would be happy to discuss flowers, candlesticks and candles for the tables. We will also include your own decoration ideas in the arrangements.
